Metabolism
In its simplest definition; it’s the act of making energy from food. It’s actually a lot more complex than that and works to build up, as well as to break down, chemical processes in our body. The fact is, it starts to decline as we age. In fact after age 50, approximately 7-8% every decade.
Where is the fun in that! The fun is that is it doesn’t have to be that way! By eating properly, moving more, sitting less, and getting proper sleep we can improve our metabolism! Sounds like a familiar formula doesn’t it!
