How many of you out there have played with ropes, recently?

They have been a gym trend for the last few years and I have to say they give you a lot of option with your mobility. However, here is a perfect example of mobility and stability working together.

Notice how I keep my body steady while the ropes are moving. I don’t use a lot of excess energy moving what I don’t need to! The trunk gets a bit of work in these moves also. If you really want to work that core, get down in a side plank or hight plank and work one rope at a time!

Ropes are great for a quick cardio burst in-between sets or add a lunge, or a plank, and they can be a set in themselves. If you get a chance give them a try! Have a great week everyone
