My Favorite Warm-Up Exercises
Today’s video involves one of my favorite warm-up exercises. The Down Dog, Up dog dynamic movement! However, it is not the first thing I do.
First, I warm up both the shoulders and the hips with some mobilization movements and if everything feels good I will proceed with this move.
This is an advanced move and is demanding of good shoulder stability. These movements are great for strengthening the shoulder girdle complex, the core is working, not to mention it’s a great hip opener.
With the second movement, you continue to establish shoulder stability, engage the core through movement and open the chest.
If you are able to do a high plank and can hold for more than 20 seconds, try challenging yourself with movement!
As always your feedback is important! Have a great Week!
Do you like the mat I am using or need one of your own so that these moves are a little more comfortable? Grab yours right here!**
